Commissioner Kliavkoff today is at SMU doing his due diligence.

Apparently conference expansion is poised to take place before the Pac's new media rights deal, as the network providers that the Pac's negotiating with (probably mainly Amazon) wants more inventory/content quantity-wise than what ten teams could provide. He has previously visited San Diego State, too. Those are the top two candidates, but who knows if 12 will be where the buck would stop. We also don't know if both SDSU and SMU will be granted in by a majority vote of the ten pre-existing university presidents – SDSU surely, SMU... we'll see.
