Gee, linkster, if the play of both teams is so pathetic, just go watch a UConn rerun on ESPN3 or something. Why torture yourself so?

I miss the Stanford band.

Anyway, pretty ugly 1st half all around. I'd attribute it to jitters, but the Irish looked good for the 1st five minutes or so.

The observation about the Irish seeming to give up on offensive rebounds seemed about right from Section 301. It just seems like they're vacating their end of the court after a shot.

Coates is consistently better. In fact this game changed dramatically as soon as Coates and Cuevas came in. How much she plays them in the second half will go a long toward deciding the outcome of the game.

So now you want to tell me what to do?

I'm commenting on the game. Why not try it yourself.

Tale of 2 runs. ND leads 17-5 over the first 7 minutes. SC looks pathetic. The rest of the half SC outscores ND 23-16.

I don't know why SC plays Ibiam at all. She just spots the other team points.

Reimer's mid-season improvement has been remarkable. Her passing and midrange game are big reason's for Turner's early success.

She just said Mabrey had 5 first half turnovers, so she must be reading the wrong column in the box score.

No need to bother the players or even coaches as they're coming off the court, imo. They are in competition mode. Leave them alone for goodness sakes.
