yay! welcome back. Glad you're ok, I was starting to worry about you. Several of these are players on my list of possibles. I was wondering if anyone would take Govan, Jones is a real player, and Nunn was really good year before last, but last year took a dive so I'll be curious to see if she regains her form. good luck.

Yeah... Aside from Pool and Nunn, the rest of my squad is Sunbelt (former home of MT) and C-USA (current home of MT) along with two local schools (Belmont and TN Tech). And Luffman-Hartsfield is a former MT player. So my squad took about five minutes to pick. It actually took more time to confirm they weren't on anyone else's squad.

Cheyenne Parker is suspended for the next three games. She will be eligible to return to the team for the 11/23 game against Ole Miss.

Yeah its a bummer, so many players getting suspended or the boot before season even starts and some really good ones at that...what's the deal...hopefully Parker does well when she gets back

I would consider FollowtheCardinalRule suggestion about coring one player, then letting new players pick a player when they sign up or agree to play. That way it would cut down the draft one round.

I wouldn't be opposed to doing a shorter draft and picking up the rest of the roster via free agency either, but with the time differences it may be a disadvantage for some people, like this draft finished around 11pm eastern time and some people left early or before the draft ended when they finished drafting.

Myrtle, who let you have Damika?

18pts, on 7-8, with 2-2 from downtown, with three steals, and this is just in fourteen minutes.

I propose a trade, I'll give you your cherished Picknell for Martinez.

Typical, as soon as I comment on Miss Martinez, she goes and misses four straight shots.

They're good shots, though. Mostly rimming out or just off the rim. She'll be fine after she gets a rest.

It's Happy's fault. I was sure he would draft her in the first round so she wasn't even on my radar.

I know, I was just joking. I think that it's best to split the draft into two, even though that probably makes us give up two evenings instead of one.

So far I'm smiling - my Princeton girl had a very decent game and Ms. Tabatha over at the hall has thus far been awesome.

I for one wouldn't because she doesn't fit my criteria for picking my team, btw I don't think she's the best fantasy player anyways.

I was just thinking that would be a more fairer way cut down on the number of rounds in the draft while still keeping it in one day. As I mentioned earlier with the free agent option I think it creates disadvantages for some people because of time zones and schedules.

Of course in itself the coring option also has it's flaws as well. And of course we have almost a year to figure it out, maybe someone will suggest a great option that we could apply to next years draft.

Anyways, back to this season, already some exciting games being played, and the first day isn't even half way over year, I'm hoping this continues all season long. Very Happy
