This is not a ref comment (which I can't stand).
Fouls may be a key factor. UConn tries very, very hard not to foul because FTA's can kill you in at least two different ways. UConn has given up only 28 FTA's in the last four games. Yet, Notre Dame is the team that historically has drawn the most FTA's from UConn, sometimes a plethora.
Can UConn continue to discipline themselves not to foul in the face of the classic aggressive Irish paint penetration and low post attack?
The UConn men won the NC last night even though they gave up too many FTA's because Kentucky was so terrible at converting FTA's to FTM's.

Big cheers for Muffet, Tara and Geno when they showed photos of FF coaches; a huge cheer for Pat.

| I totally forgot to mention that Achonwa was on the court while the Irish were shooting. She ended up with the ball and dribbled it a couple of times. It was kind of sad.

| Those NCAA ads with the coaches annoy me. I think it's because they all have two men's coaches and only one women's coach.

Doris, shut up because every time you talk you show what a fool you are.
You can't give 'stars' extra fouls just because they're stars.
The best games are called fairly, not with special rules for your special players!!!!!!!

i want to believe that she actually meant that it's not good to call ticky tack fouls because it hurts the game and that it stands out more when it's on a star player. i'm going with that.... |
