Oh it certainly is true, I'm hardly the only one who sees it. Pat should have 3 or 4 at most, not six and she'd still be looking for victory #800.
More people would speak out about it if not for the bad pub it would give to the game. More would talk openly on boards about it if not for the Vol thugs. Fortunately this place has virtually none of them. The kind of stuff that goes on elsewhere would get those folks a quick ticket out of here permanently.
Personal apologies to Slovy and others, but I know he knows what I'm talking about. There are some great people who are Tenn fans and I have nothing against them. I just think it's so sad to see teams dreams crushed unfairly by clearly biased refs. I've seen too many of them over the years and it's time to end. If they win it fairly, that's fine. If the game were called even, UNC would be playing tonight.  |
Well, then I guess this game is as useless as baseball, then. Baseball has steroids, women's basketball has biased refs. You're questioning the very fabric of women's basketball by saying this. Therefore, tonight doesn't mean a damn thing. Why are we all here if all the referees are biased toward Tennessee?
And as far as that goes, why are YOU watching? Turn off the TV.

Geezz, how many red herrings can you throw out there? Clearly you are biased. This isn't about the balance of the universe, it's about people being sick and tired of seeing one team being given additional breaks over others.
This game will mean a lot if it isn't mired in controversy as so many of the Tenn victories over the years have been. We all saw Tenn get as much as 8 seconds in the lane against UNC on a regular basis. What game were you watching? I wasn't the one making those comments either.
I'm watching because this is the only game I watch anymore. I even traveled to see Tenn play this last season. I enjoy the game. What I really enjoy is an unbiased game, unlike the one we saw 48 hours ago.
It's one team here, it's not a freaking conspiracy to ruin the game. Get a grip. Enjoy the game.
I'll be counting off the uncalled 3 second violations that Tenn will enjoy along with the refs and watching how they call it. It's too bad its come to this, but when Tenn is in the last 16 teams, that's what the game HAS become, and I think that's a sorry statement. It shouldn't be this way.
