But Keegs, she isn't just like any other "rookie"...look at Macchi last year in LA. That was no "rookie" in a pro league. Was she an All Star? No...but when you watched her play, it was obvious she had experience at a higher level. Also, Batgirl will bring a poise with her grit that a team rarely gets with a rookie salary.

Good point about Batkovic being paid less than the first few draft picks.

And, she brings the Australian delegation on the Storm back up to three, which has to count for something.

This should also be a great chemistry building exercise - the Opals post starting combo on the same team!

Admiral, don't look at the Batkovic gallery. The picture of Laura Summerton giving Suzy a big hug may be too much for you.
