For those who don't remember Young, she was a member of Purdue's 1999 national championship team who was killed by a drunk driver in the summer of 1999. Apparently, the man responsible never learned a damn thing from Young's senseless death. From the AP:
Man convicted in Purdue player’s death faces prison return
CROWN POINT, Ind. (AP) — A man convicted in the 1999 drunken-driving death of a Purdue women's basketball player could be on his way back to prison after another arrest.
Arnold Eaton, 39, of Gary was sentenced to nearly eight years in prison for driving while intoxicated and causing Tiffany Young's death.
Eaton was released from prison in March 2004, but Lake County prosecutors said Wednesday that he violated his probation in October when he was arrested in Gary on charges of drunken driving, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended license. Those charges are pending.
A judge has ordered Eaton be jailed without bail until a probation revocation hearing, scheduled for Jan. 17, prosecutors said. If a judge decides to revoke his probation, Eaton could be sent back to prison for rest of his sentence in connection with the crash that killed Young.
Young, 21, of Hillsboro, Ala., was a member of Purdue’s 1999 NCAA women's championship team. She died when the car in which she was riding in was struck by Eaton at a Gary intersection. The crash also injured Young's boyfriend, who was driving.

I've long felt that one way to get drunk drivers to stop driving is to card them when they get gas: they'd have to show a valid driver's license to buy fuel.

Those guys never learn.
There was a news story on local TV a while back about people who get their licenses suspended for DUI. 75% of them drove home from the courthouse.

it's always sad when something like that happens to any player it just put things in prespective for me, no one is promised tommorrow no matter what I just hope he serves the time he deserves.

Just like teens find a way to get alcohol, drunk drivers would find a way around this. And there are a lot of drunk drivers that are driving on a valid license. They just haven't killed anyone or been caught yet.
Obviously this guy needs to spend the rest of his life in jail. He has proven at least twice now that he cannot be a responsible member of our society. Lock him up and throw that key into a volcano!! He apparently needs a babysitter. I say give him one named Bruno!!
