I plan on making a donation to NCLR to assist with the Jen Harris lawsuit. I hope that many on this board would contribute to the organization as well. Irrespective of whether Jen Harris wins her lawsuit. the fact remains she has the courage to publicly challenge Rene Portland's well-documented homophobic policies.

To make a donation, visit the NCLR website:

I'm glad that the donation I made to NCLR in mid-October isn't being wasted on mailings to me asking for more money. Go, Jennifer! Exclamation

There are lots of ways to donate, including the Combined Federal Campaign and some United Way campaigns.

I don't have a link...just was told to watch the news tomorrow night as they will have a segment about this issue.

Say hi to your spouse for me. I was born and raised in Putnam, but have lived in Norwich for the past 18+ years. Nice town.

Saturday's ABC World News Tonight segment was just excerpts from ESPN's earlier "Outside the Lines." But there's more to come.

Quote:
Icebear 1: Rumor has it at least one more network is planning a piece on the problems involving Portland.

Word is it may be a major piece.
