"Purdue women's basketball isn't "back" yet, but it's getting there. When the Boilermakers beat No. 10 Notre Dame 65-54 on Dec. 7, they proved capable of competing with the top teams in the nation. After dominating the Irish, the Boilermakers started to believe they could challenge for the Big Ten title. Now, the 18th-ranked Boilermakers are 9-2 heading into Sunday's showdown with No. 7 Ohio State. A win at home against a Top 10 team could be a major step toward Purdue re-establishing itself as a national power."
