Aside from Wisconsin-Green Bay gacking away tonight's game at Iowa State, the midmajors, especially the at-large selections, acquitted themselves well in the tournament.

Green Bay, UALR, Gonzaga, Vermont and SDSU all won first-round games. Gonzaga and SDSU are both going to the Sweet 16.

Meanwhile, top-ten teams like Texas A&M, Ohio State and West Virginia are going home.

Green Bay and Vermont gave the high seeds a scare on their home floor. Props to them!

Sometimes I wonder if playing in front of your home fans is all that great of an advantage. It's great if you start winning, but if you get down a couple possessions it actually feels worse than if you were on the road, IMO.

I'm amazed about SDSU. Whodathunk the 3rd place team out of the Mountain West could beat WVU?

I totally agree and it's been fun to watch. The lady Zags are fun to watch and I think they have a good chance to move on.
