Oh dear, I hope Tennessee doesn't play in the national championship game, I feel that that would be yet another cakewalk for UConn.

Stanford is the only team in the nation with a remote chance to beat Connecticut.

Anyhoo, Nebraska is 2006-07 Duke.

Yup, undefeated until conference tourney semis. We can expect a loss in the Sweet 16 now? Only difference is Nebraska was not ranked one.

Beg to differ, not the only difference. A couple other: Nebraska would have to be so unlucky (1) as to draw a #4 seed that had just started playing well enough to cruise all the way to the national championship game (Rutgers) and (2) have an unethical women's AD at a deep-pockets school, like, oh, say Texas, leak a story along about Wed. or Thur. that she was prepared to spend big bucks to hire Connie Yory away as soon as possible. The latter does wonders for team and staff concentration and morale at this time of the season.

Lisa Leslie. (Then she contradicted herself later...)

She sat out a recent game wearing a boot for a foot or ankle injury, but seems to be ok now--28 mins., 15 pts., 5 rebs. vs. UCLA today.

Sprained ankle. It is not 100% yet, but she said it is strong. I think she'll be fine for the NCAAs.
