I just tuned in. Why is Appel not playing today? Injury or just resting her?

thankfully stanford didn't really need her - kayla and nneka had 23 and 22 points, respectively, and 10 and 14 boards, respectively. just add rosgo to guard lexi (i can't call her AGL, it sounds too much like a knee injury to me), and they're set.

depending on how jayne's ankle is healing, i'd say rest her for the pac-10 tourney quarterfinals. hopefully she can make it back for the semis if it's a matchup with asu. their size concerns me.

i was a little worried bout the 3-point shooting for stanford though, specially since i thought pohlen's shot had been coming around again recently.
