Thrill, where's your pics? |
Haven't been home. I've been GO GO GO all week. I'm pooped.
You could see they were down, but hopefully all the fans helped. I saw tears in Catch's eyes on several occasions.

I want to say THANK YOU to rebbies who went to welcome the Fever home. I am sure it made the team feel a little better to have the fans there waiting for them. If I lived in Indy I would have been there as well. Poor Catch, she wanted this so bad and I feel really bad for her. She was so excited just talking about it and I am sure she is really down.
The team has nothing to hang their heads about. They did a fantastic job and gave the Merc a real run for their money.

I'm glad I went. I wasn't feeling well (on antibiotics for an allergy induced ear infection) and it was coooold outside, but there was a huge turnout and I was glad to be a part of it.
The way people were cheering, you'd think the Fever had won on Friday
Not quite the celebration that the Mercury and their fans will be having tomorrow night, but we're still celebrating a great season here in Indy.

I am a Merc fan and very glad they won. That being said, I am also a fan of Catch's and hard to see her go home disappointed. I wish her the best of luck in the future (as long as its not against the Merc, LOL!). |

My sentiments too. I have family in Indiana and I was born there so my loyalties are a little conflicted.
Catch looks like a teacher or a librarian in her glasses.
