Sparks fans, do you all feel feel comfortable about your backcourt going into the season? Looks to me like your only natural PGs are Bobbit and Harrower?

Phoenix, How do you feel about having only 3 posts?

NY, How do you feel about having only 1 healthy player who can dribble the ball?

Chicago, How do you feel about having Wyckoff starting at SF?

Detroit, How do you feel about having Farris as your starting center?

I mean, there are a few questions out there, eh? We got what we got and now we gotta make the best of it.

Plus I predict these 'final' rosters will be changed quite a bit by this time next week.

Ohlde, Le'Coe, Tangela, Brooke Smith. Four.

But still don't feel good about two of those four.

Of course there are. And I know there's nothing to do to change it. I was asking their fans if they feel comfortable that that set of guards would give them a good season. This is a place where I can ask for opinions, right?

Please don't remind me. I still wish SFO had kept Miller over her, but too late now. But yeah, for a team with six posts, we will literally be hurting in the paint for the first few games. No Braxton, no Ford, possibly no Pierson. LA should really be scared of Farris, Sanni, and Taj. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes I bet at some point in the game Katie ends up playing PF.

yes. Harrower is a great leader and floor general and from what I have heard Bobbit was great in camp..

Quinn should be a good fit too..

Sparks are gonna fly!

Wow, SASS has 11 players, seems like we operated with less for a lot of last year. Laughing

Thanks icey,

I guess I knew all along Emmy Fox wasn't go to make it for the Lynx, but she kind of grew on me with her daily training camp article in the PPress.

Farewell Emmy, but not good bye! Sad

Every time I see Perperoglou and Mattera, I have to remind myself that they're not some Euros that Hughes dug up to fill out his roster. Very Happy

"Ketia is one of the quickest players in our league and she can guard," Thibault said. "But the backup point guard needs to be someone who makes no mistakes and needs to be a decent shooter. Her turnovers were high and she didn't shoot great. We asked her to work on some things and she chose not to.

"I like her very much, but I don't think she had the same focus as she had a year ago. It's a competition and she got outplayed."

Ouch. Well whattaya gonna do.

Interesting that Thibault kept inferring he was keeping only one of Brown and Cirone. I guess they both did great today and yesterday.

I know, right?

It does confirm what I'd been thinking as I was watching the preseason game versus the Sparks. She didn't do a damn thing to work on her game during the offseason and showed up to camp out of shape.

Here's what I'd like to know, though. If she couldn't hack it in Connecticut's system, how in the WORLD is she going to manage in Phoenix's system being out of shape? Shocked

I think he's still experimenting right now. He didn't want to cut either right now without evaluating them against each other during game action. He could wind up cutting both after this weekend's action. Never know...

Ohlde, Le'Coe, Tangela, Brooke Smith. Four.

But still don't feel good about two of those four.

I think I only feel comfortable with one of them. I like Le'Coe, but she's two-three inches too short. Brooke Smith tries hard, but she's bench fodder at best. Ohlde's career peak seems to have been 2004-05.

Maybe if somebody could donate about 40-50 pounds to Bonner, I might feel a bit better...

Depending on the team (not LA Wink ) Bonner can play in the post, so we have 5....not a one of them awe inspiring Confused

Mitch is really light weight. I hope her lil body can hold up while having to play 35+ MPG. But that big, strong body did nothing for Elmo lately, so let's be optimistic. Smile

Actually being big does nothing for your durability. Look at which players have the most injuries--the big girls!

Wow. McCants makes a roster, but Latta doesn't. Yikes.
