With upsets, you have to consider two of the women's upsets were #5 over #4 (IIRC). The men had four teams seeded 7th or higher make the Sweet 16, including three teams in double digits.
But other than Davidson, the men's Elite Eight went according to seed.

The men also had a #5 over a #4.

The men also had two #9 over #8 upsets compared to one for the women.

9/8 and 5/4...added together, that means 3 out of 7 for the women, 3 out of 13 for the men. Still a much bigger percentage on the men's side for the upsets with a difference of one placement.

| I think the blowouts are more interesting...seeing as #1 vs. #16 seed on the women's side is pretty much a guaranteed blowout, and pretty much the same as a #2 and #15 seed. Where as Men are supposed to be much closer.
