Confused

I do not think that a 3.5 say at Oregon State in Efucation is the same as a 3.5 at Stanford or Cal and UCLA

I agree, but you can't have all the kids be from Stanford and Cal. Can you?

Washington and the LA schools aren't cakewalks either. In fact the admissions standard for athletes may be tougher at Washingon than it is at Cal.

Stanford though is in a whole 'nother place in that regard.

Apologies to the other 5 schools in the conference but in general it probably breaks down this way academically.

Stanford
Cal
Washington
USC
UCLA

Sorry but you can't claim to have stringent admission standards and have 50+ thousand students (looking at you Arizona schools)

Are there outstanding academic programs at each of these universities? Without question, but on the whole the top 5 are a world away from the others.

You also have to look at what they're majoring in. GPA is such a flawed indicator. That said, congrats to those who made the list. Maintaining a 3.+ GPA at any university while playing basketball at a high level takes hard work.
