Let the bashing begin...
Top 3:
Debbie Antonelli (Stanford Region)
Let's face it, she knows her stuff. She may get a little biased during ACC games, but Antonelli is one of our best. She called all of her games well and knew a lot about each teams.
Jimmy Dykes (Albuquerque Region)
I used to think this guy was a moron, but like Antonelli he seems to know a lot about each team and he can make a game sound exciting. Hell, he could probably make an elementry b-team game sound like the WNBA title game. Kudos, Jimmy.
Mary Murphy (Bridgeport)
I love Mary! Seriously, she used to bug me, but now I think she's one of the best. She mixes knowledge with style("It's show time in Bridgeport!"). It never felt like she was reading off of Media Guides. Plus, she also brings excitement to the game. I wish she did more WNBA games, honestly.
The Bottom 3:
Pam Ward & Nancy Lieberman (College Park Region)
Okay guys, I think ESPN hates us. Seriously, why should they put us through this torture? One is bad enough, but when both are the sidelines all we hear is a couple of has-beens joke and tell insiders all game. They're so damn predictable, and my prediction is usually horrible. Please ESPN, retire their microphones.
Carolyn Peck (Baton Rouge Region)
I'm so a Carolyn Peck fan, but damn girl. She's so out of her element. Her voice isn't distinguised enough to really garner attention and she giggles most of the game. I know a lot of people question her coaching ability, but that's where she belongs. Here's to hoping she fills one of the many coaching vacancies already available.
