Is this typical and has it been noted before for other Assistants who have moved into the Head Coaching position for one reason or another?

I'm just saying that isn't it the Head Associates job to be ready to lead when the Head goes down for any reason (Illness,Injury, Pregnancy, ect), just didn't know if they all get a raise or an incentive bonus .

Maybe this is just a kind gesture on behalf of a very fine University such as BSU.
