Parker loses POY to Fowles in SEC?

How does this happen? Completely shocking. I bet anything Parker wins the tournament MVP and every other honor out there.

Do the SEC coaches have something against her? Is it the attitude?

LSU defeated TN and was undefeated in conference play so Fowles gets the nod over Parker. I'm guessing... but even if TN had been defeated in conference play, assuming it's not like 3 losses or so, if they had beaten LSU, Parker would have gotten the nod.

I assume that part of the difference in the SEC POY and National POY votes are who the voters are. The SEC coaches are probably sick of hearing about Candace Parker and could VERY legitimately give the nod to Fowles so they took it.

Well I want to thank the coaches for giving the award to Syl. Candace played inspired basketball in the SEC Tourney. Razz
