Sloppy Rutgers Hangs On To Beat Notre Dame

By Violeta Yas: SPM NJ Writer: February 20, 2008

PISCATAWAY, NJ - Looking to settle down after the week-long spectacle surrounding their debatable loss to Tennessee, the No. 5/4 Rutgers Scarlet Knights bounced back nicely last Saturday with a ransacking of the lowly University of South Florida Bulls. But in the first half of their 57-51 victory over BIG EAST rival No. 14/14 Notre Dame on Tuesday night, RU looked more like one of the nation’s best Division II teams than the National Championship runner-up. --- READ MORE ----
