I know Angel is a super player, but if UCONN beats RU and wins the conference, Maya Moore deserves the award. She put on a show last night!

I have to say I find myself wondering if McCoughtry really ought to win it. Sure, she's averaging 23.7 a game, etc. ,etc., but her team hasn't really won any big games and is on track to do worse in the Big East than last year. Truth be told, when I saw her against Rutgers, she did most of her damage when the game really was decided already, and that didn't impress me much, either.

Moore might be, in that context, a better choice, regardless of what happens in the 2nd RU game.

Oh, and I harbor no illusions that any RU player is in the running. Prince may be a candidate the next two years, but not yet (unless she does something like dropping 30 in each of the next four games, but even then, I don't think so).
