The game itself was what it was (didn't see it--the box score says "a rout"), but lost in this ACC match-up was the fact that the head coaches at these schools have battled some form of cancer at some point in their lives.

Lost in the discussion of UNC and Maryland is the fact Monica Wright may be the ACC's best all-around player (yes, Marissa...Monica Wright, on both ends of the ball).

BTW, I'm diggin' the love that Lavin is giving our guys on ABC. Why can't he do more of our games? I loathe Len Smellmore with every bone in my body. Evil or Very Mad
