Coach Frese and the Terps players are on the schedule to be interviewed tomorrow on CBS The Early Show...probably in the 8 o'clock hour.

Being a national championship coach and being 33 weeks pregnant with twins, while coaching a top-10 team and her team's reaction...has all the makings of being a good tv story. Very Happy

btw, the 8 AM time is not set in stone. changes are always possible. If I hear that it's been bumped from tomorrow's schedule, or if I hear any more about the time it will be broadcast, I'll post it here.

8:00 AM EST....The Early Show just showed a preview of stories coming up in the NEXT HALF HOUR....Yes, coming up.... BRENDA & the TERPS!!!!

they lied...8:30 has come and gone...and all we got was another preview. Look for it now before 9 AM. Confused

Awwww, that was so sweet!!

It was Laura and Marissa with Brenda, plus footage of the mass hugging that occured after she announced the pregnancy. Very nice.

That was great!!

But someone should have given Marissa some coffee and told her to smile; she must not be a morning person! Very Happy

And neither is Coach B, but as she said, she's not sleeping anyway, so it was no problem for her to do the Early Show.

A really wonderful piece. Glad I have a TV in my office!

Yeah for tape delay in the central time zone! At first I thought I missed it but then remembered that I thought they ran the show tape delayed here. I just turned it on and saw the promo for Frese.

Laura has always been such a natural with the press -- no matter what talking points they give her, she comes off as completely and utterly genuine. It's a valuable skill!

Marissa did seem quite subdued. I don't think she would've spoken at all if she hadn't been called on by name. But her press technique is about a thousand times improved over the deer-in-headlights method she was sporting her freshman year. Smile

I can envision Harp behind an ESPN desk some day. She's smart, funny and, as you said, she is just so at ease in front of a camera.

btw, she IS a Communications major....and I KNOW she shows up for class!
