he was 1 of 3 passengers in car....Driver, Shawn Smith, his coach, was killed Crying or Very sad

tractor-trailer (allegedly) crossed the center line and hit their vehicle.

prayers and positive thoughts to all the Landers and to the family and friends of Smith and the other two students.

Obviously, we're all holding our breath down here...but the latest update from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's website sounds hopeful:

Claude Felton, a spokesperson for the Georgia Athletics Association, said federal laws prevented him from disclosing details of Drew Landers' condition. However, he did say he received a text message from Coach Landers early Monday morning that indicated Drew Landers, who was life-flighted from Anniston to Atlanta overnight, got "a good report" from Grady doctors and would recover from his injuries.

Here's an article pretty much saying the same thing
