who would you consider the most significant players to transfer in the last few years??

and when I mean significant, that stretches to include biig name school/big name player/big impact at new school thru to those the generalist might not have noticed - JUCOs, mid-majors etc....

SWG and Hunter come to mind. Liz Sherwood, Kia Wright, Bobbit, Rash Sadiq... who else?

Brooke Smith, from Duke to Stanford at the end of the 2002-2003 season.
Brittany Hunter, from Duke to UConn at the end of the 2003-2004 season.
Emily Waner, from Colorado to Duke at the end of the 2003-2004 season.

Did Sadiq do anything at Oklahoma State? Doesn't seem like a major transfer to me.

Sadiq was pretty active during the tourney.... I wouldn't call her a major transfer UConn/OSt. Mebbe JUCO to UConn...

Bernice Mosby, maybe? Transferred from Florida to Baylor?

Do the Penn State transfers fall under the temporal scope of your question?

April McDivitt - Tennessee to UCSB
Kennitra Johnson - UConn to Purdue (although she never made the court at Purdue)
Katie Anthony - Vandy to LSU

Funny you bring up Antony...

I thought she'd play a lot more than she has at LSU. They've struggled with shooting the ball from the perimeter as of late, and I thought she'd help. Maybe she'll see more time...

Back in the day, Leslie Johnson was a huge transfer when she went from Purdue to Western Kentucky. She had been National Freshman of the Year.
