In the pre-game a lot was made of the "power of 55" for Rutgers this year. I find it ironic that the true MOP of the tournament was number 55 for Tennessee, Nicky Anosike. That girl took charge of the team and made them champions. CP3 was cool, and is the media darling, but I think all true fans of Tennessee recognize that this team would not have gotten very far without the emotional leadership exhibited by Anosike. She was the one who called the team together and got each member to commit to her role on the team and she is the one who carried them throught the adversity in the national semi-final, and she was the one who single-handedly rebounded the hell out of the ball on Tuesday to bring the trophy back to Knoxville once again. The power of 55 indeed!
