Then, I'm going UNC over Tennessee in a close one. Parker will have the potential game saving block, but she will be so busy staring down the blockee that Larkins will get the putback at the buzzer for a 1 point win.

LOL!

My pick:

Tennessee over Rutgers.

Maybe so, but it's those "intangibles" that will get Parker elected POY. I blame Pat Summitt. Because Candace couldn't have been a trash-talkin' ho' when she was living in Naperville. Wink

Rutgers vs. LSU: First team to 50 points wins. The smart guess is that LSU is that team, but Rutgers has been making a lot of people look dumb.....

My thoughts exactly. My head tells me to pick Sylvia Fowles and LSU...but just like you said: Rutgers has been making a lot of people look dumb....." Embarassed

For the other game, I've got to go with Tennessee.

I'm afraid of going against Rutgers since they did beat Duke. However, I'll take a gamble and pick LSU meeting Tennessee in the final. I think Pat Summitt will be ready for UNC in the rematch. But it will be close.

Wanna support Tennessee cuz of N.Y.C.'s Shannon Bobbit but I think LSU will take it.

Tennessee vs LSU in the final...and the winning team gets to send a player to the WNBA draft. We'll take either Wink

That's the cool thing about the potential LSU/Tennesse match up.

Winner goes to Phoenix!

I'd like to see Candace play at Tennessee two more years and I love the idea of the Mercury getting Fowles, so I suppose I should be rooting for LSU...
