Thanks for the kind words, Mikey! Yeah, Trey Wingnut is a doofus. Now Lindsey is the third-best PG in the country (after Latta and Kim Beck Question) because of two missed FTs. Never mind what she accomplished during the rest of her senior season. He pretty much boiled down her fantastic senior season to a pair of FTs.

What an idiot. His only rival as Monarch of Idiocy is Stupid Stacey Dales.

still, winning 3 games in the tourney is pretty good for LSU considering what the players have been through the last 3 weeks.

They've already mentioned that story about Starkey using the apollo 13 story as a motivator for his team a couple of times in the other games... so apparently it actually happened.

I don't think LSU needed it in this game--FSU looked completely lost on offense.

I think LSU could challenge UCONN in the next round--they've done it once already. Fowles didn't even have a good game in this one, and LSU wins easily. Wouldn't it be weird if LSU won the NC??

i actually picked LSU in one of my brackets. they've almost done it so many times...and after this latest hurdle, it was an emotional pick. what the heck?

LSU has had a good run but UCONN should pull away in the second half. At the start of the season, without Seimone's 20 pts a game, if you had told me LSU would make the elite 8 I wouldn't have believed it. Sweet 16, ok, Elite 8, no. So I'm happy. Starkey has got the team as far as Chatman could have and Chatman already lost to Conn. Good luck Bob.

It is in relation of course to coping with unexpected disaster. The line in the movie Starkey focused on is when one NASA ground guy says something like "This is the worst thing ever to happen to NASA" and another ground guy says something like "I think it may well be our finest hour."

Each game in this tourney that the LadyTigers win is a fine hour indeed. To heck with Chatman
