Seems kind of silly to me, It's an NCAA issue and they make an exception for hockey... |

So Minnesota doesn't play Illinois in anything but Hockey?

The policy is against scheduling non-conference games, although it's selectively enforced. (Arkansas State appeared in the Gophers' annual tournament two years ago, for instance.) Anyway, North Dakota and Minnesota are both members of the WCHA for both men's and women's hockey...

Oh, they also make exceptions for Div. I.

It is, and it doesn’t make sense. We played them last year and now this year the rules change and we cant play them.

Maturi went to the University administration to ask to loosen the ban, but they said no.
