i watched the whole game, NY vs Det on MSG tonight. I really thought we had this one....what happened? Why wasn't T.Moore in the game more? Especially after Becky lost the ball. I think there is talent there....T.'s a ball handler and a good passer- did you see the inside pass she made???And I like Frett in the game although I don't think she had a good game tonigbht, but then again neither did C-Rob at the line.
Patty substituts many more of the players than Richie ever did. But in the OT, what were the plays? It looked as if they were supposed to just throw the ball up. They needed T. to run the plays...they needed to shoot instead of depending on fouls. Actually, now that I think about it...in regular time, they stalled too much with too little of a lead and too much time left. Laimbeer's play to get the ball to Jones when Tweety wasn't free was pure genius. Why weren't the Libs guarding ALL the perimeter players? If they woudl have only gotten an inside shot, the game woudln't ahve been tied? So many unanswered questions.
I really thought we had this one tonight- damn. I'm just venting....

There is no way that oen player can win a game for any team unless the opposing team is helping her. Tweety was not the main factir in the Libs' failure to score...hell, they didn't have a very good shooting percentage when they were winning the game at half time and yet they were ahead! (33%) And what about ther offensive rebounding? We were ahead or even up with Det in the first half in that area. When Tweety took over, why didn't we have an answer for her on the defensive end? And why weren't we shooting the ball at the end of the second half or in OT?

That was the one thing, that stuck out like a sore thumb to me, nobody wanted to take the shot. Had some good looks, outside, but pretty well wide open.

I say
1 - Trudi
2 - Patty
3 - Dr. Evil (what if the Sparks go into a tailspin and mutiny! - LOL!)
I noticed Winters isn't on your list. There's nothing like squeaking by with wins to make a coach look good! I still can't make up my mind about him. During the games I'm complaining about substitutions, but we end up with the win...
