It's a little the PAC 10, a lot the Washington program. June Daugherty has lost virutally every Washington HS blue chipper over the last 5 years to out-of-state interests.

If she coached the men, she would have lost her job years ago. It's about time the UW gave the samae credence to building their women's program as they have to building the men's. It's sexist, and as a basketball fan, frustrating.

I second you there eclair, Daugherty is the reason i cannot watch the Dawgs, I've gone to cheering on SPU and Gonzaga for the east side.

Yeah, it is looking more and more like the Pac-10 is having a letdown from last year when six teams went to the NCAAs.

USC has got injury problems, UCLA is down on talent (and of course they have Kathy Olivier coaching them), but Washington has no excuse. They have six seniors and a core that took it to LSU in last year's tourney.
