Duke, behind efforts from Abby Waner (16 points) and Carrem Gay (13 points on 6-6 shooting), stomped the Lady Monarchs in Durham, 89-40. Freshman Joy Cheek (12 points), Keturah Jackson (11 points), and All-American candidate Alison Bales (10 points) were among the five players in double figures. Somewhere, Wendy Larry is convulsing.

After three blowout losses to BCS teams (and games against Tennessee, MTSU, Rutgers due up soon), is this looking like another season where they'll have to make a run through the CAA just to make it to the NCAA Tournament? Is this even possible with Hofstra and James Madison looking better than ever?

Delaware also has a big win over Kentucky and could be difficult to get past.
