That will be Mississippi Valley State's first game against a D-I opponent this season!

UCLA is now 3-4. I am not sure that is what I would call a big win.

Well, I neglected to look under the first portion (Top 25) of the original post and instead looked under the Big 12 and PAC-10 sections for the score. Didn't mean to repeat anything - sorry 'bout that.
But since i'm here, I will say that after the bashing the Big 12 took here - and rightfully so in a bad sportsmanship kinda way - following its teams' performances at the dance last season, it appears the league has faired pretty darn well thus far this season. And mind you that even the "lowly" Buffs came dang close to taking down Vanderbilt a few weeks back.
I think the league is gonna represent better come March this time 'round.

I agree that the Big 12 looks better this year.
For me, strength of a league is not determined by NCAA performance, because, when it comes down to it there is a lot more the season than a tournament in which no one plays more than 6 games. I saw the B12 as a bad conference last year because of the poor OOC performance. It is why it will be tough for me to believe in any Pac-10 teams this year. When a conference fails pretty much every OOC test it has, that conference just doesn't look like it is any good.
