OU comes home with a win 77-68 after beating UCLA last night on their way home from Hawaii.

UCLA started to make a charge back late in the game when Quinn started hitting her shots.

ODD STAT: Every Starter picked up a foul ...or 3 or 4. No one from the bench had a foul. PG Britney Brown fouled out in the waning seconds of the game.

Courtney finished with 24 points and 17 boards in 28 minutes having had to sit a lot of the first half with 2 fouls. The perimeter shooters heated up and shot 56% from beyond the arc. At halftime they were 69% from beyond the perimeter.

Leah Rush played all 40 minutes and was STELLAR. Ashley Paris, after having 3 outstanding games, was a bit off her game. Chelsi Welch is just playing outstanding and has been every game. Erin Higgins finally found her shot after losing it over in Hawaii....

A lot of unforced turnovers in the game; OU finished with 24. Hope it's just island funk though OU is typically a high turnover team...it's the unforced ones that'll have you pulling your hair out.

It sounded like UCLA held their own although Courtney sat out a bunch. Makes me think that OU is more dangerous knowing that they can really hit that outside shot.

This bodes well for UCLA though as they get ready for conference play. Hopefully, they can make it back to the tournament this year.
