You beat me to it. Indiana with the upset over a ranked opponent, #15 Kentucky.

They were ranked too high anyways IMO.

Still a surprising score, though.

Proof that Kentucky was ranked too high or is Indiana better than some people expected them to be? I think a lil' both.

Kimberly Roberson is extremely talented and is going to surprise some people.

I wouldn't use a game in early November as much proof of anything.

Kentucky shot 14.5 percent in the second half. Indiana played good defense and should be credited, but 6-foot-6 Sarah Elliott was 1-for-11. She missed a ton of shots within three feet of the basket. Samantha Mahoney was also 1-for-11.

Nice win for the Hoosiers in front of 5,000-plus fans.

The Hoosiers still have a ways to go, but this is a great win. Can't complain about being 2-0 to start the year.

Jamie Braun is really a great player and will be a nice bright spot this season.

Would have liked to have seen a better outing out of Whitney Thomas, but really just hope she continues to develop along with Kim Roberson.

Just a reminder that Kentucky actually did more last year than just beat Tennessee. They are a good team with good players and an excellent coaching staff. When you shoot 14% in a half, you'd be hard pressed to be anyone, anytime. The big three scorers for Kentucky, Mahoney, Elliott and Pfeiffer, were just no where near their rhythm. They were able to play some good defense which kept them in the game, but at some point you have to score.

I think it's really interesting how several people really seem to pick on Kentucky cause they were ranked in the pre-season. Come on, let us play too.

It depends. Kentucky lost to a terrible Wake Forest team last year during the nonconference stretch, so this result isn't too surprising to me. I understand that it's early in the season and everyone's not where they want to be physically and mentally, but ranked teams aren't supposed to lose to unranked teams picked to finish near the bottom of their conferences at home to begin the season.

Perhaps this will be a wake-up call for Kentucky, as now they'll have to face a pissed-off Old Dominion team in Norfolk next week during Homecoming.

I have no doubt that Kentucky is a great team this year, but I thought the ranking was a little high. This is the first game, but I agree it shouldn't have gone down like it did. Let's hope they wake up soon.

I saw some of the second half...Elliot got kicked in the face going for a looseball(looked intentional) and her head wasnt in the game after that.

I was busy and only watched a few minutes but caught the end too. Ugly game

Sarah Elliott with a strong double-double (rebounds and missed shot attempts...)
