Musketeers begin the post-Tara Boothe (all-time leading scorer and rebounder) with an 86-70 win against Florida.

Xavier had five players score at least 15 points. Suntana Granderson scored 19 and the much anticipated Amber Harris had 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Xavier's been decent over the past few years — not great, but decent — and I think Florida is a little down this year. I wasn't too surprised (but was surprised Xavier was up 22 at halftime).

I'm not shocked by this result. Florida is extremely young and not very big. Xavier, despite having six freshmen, presents a more veteran attack.

I agree. I still like Brooks though. She's fun to watch, but Florida as a whole wont be fun to watch this year.
