Atlanta and AD Durr have parted ways. I saw the post on IG & Twitter. https://x.com/AtlantaDream/status/1784341117233689006

Another post I saw from W Insider's Rachel Galligan said that the Dream renounced rights to Durr, making them an unrestricted free agent. Then in a follow-up said Durr's reps asked Atlanta to release their rights and Atlanta agreed even though they could have held them for value.

Not sure why they released Durr, but with Powers joining, maybe they let Durr know what their role would be this season.

Durr played very well for the Dream and I'm glad they were able to play again at all, and played at a high level. Best to them!

I like this for Atlanta they have the cap space and Dangerfield is. A good fit as a back up to Canada.

Wow. This is so wild to witness in real time. It wasn’t that long ago that Atlanta was getting bumped to smaller arenas in favor of Disney on Ice but now an Indiana v Atlanta game is getting bumped TO the NBA arena.

Crystal Dangerfield has been waived by the Dream. I guess this means they feel confident in Jordin Canada's return. But has there been any word how long Howard is expected to be out? Will there be another pickup? Any thoughts?

Poor Mighty mouse , continues to be used and abused by teams in this league because of her size. How many teams does she have left to get a shot with ? Maybe Seattle ? Luckily Expansion is coming soon but im not sure how she can improve her size.

I saw that about Maya Caldwell. She's been signed so many times.

As for Tina, I think she's played well this year. Atlanta's main issue has been Canada being out for so long. Jones tried but that really isn't her position. Also, the perimeter defense has been woeful at times. Teams seem to have their best 3 point shooting night against the Dream.

Also Cheyenne Parker-Tyus has had a rough go of it lately. Hopefully she can get things going in the right direction soon.

That's the Tina Charles curse. She doesn't make her teammates better.

So what’s going on with the Atlanta ownership and front office? After the nonstop media blitz of Renee Montgomery, I feel like there hasn’t been much heard about the owners since. They’re from Boston, right? How involved have they been? It just feels like a whole Operation on autopilot where no one really cares what’s happening at the ground level.
