Spokane is a great city to host a regional. (I was there in 2013 for the women's regional and it was a great environment.) Couer d'Alene is a beautiful town but unfortunately has a lot of not great people.

Having said that, Gonzaga should not have been allowed to host under the circumstances and that decision needs to be laid at the feet of the NCAA. There have been several times where a team who was a top 4 seed didn't host because of scheduling conflicts.
