I know the backgrounds of most of the ESPN sportscasters, but there are a couple I don't and haven't been able to find out anything on. Who can tell me anything about Courtney Lyle (who I can't stand) or Christy Thomaskutty?

Courtney Lyle used to be a TV sports reporter here in Macon! She moved on at the first offer from a bigger city.

Thomaskutty played basketball at Tulane in the 90's then coached at D-III Emory in Atlanta.

Thomaskutty was also an assistant coach at Illinois State University.

Her career at Emory was very successful but left due to health reasons in which at the time she said it was for a family health reasons.

She is 1000 times better than Carolyn Peck, who doesn’t seem to do her homework or prepare much as she mispronounces, miss identifies, and overall is not a very smooth announcer.

thanks, pilight. Thomaskutty may be, if I read things right, one of the few Indian-American broadcasters, not to mention players, out there.
