The Longhorns and The Cyclones both played some tough ball, but TX defense was the TOUGHEST factor. They were really the best I've seen them play this season (which hasn't been all that much)

Had Harmon stayed healthy this entire season, they'd definitely be FF material. And - who knows? - March Madness might even still get them there. It could be fascinating to see TX/USC meet in the tourney....the Booker/Watkins matchup could be golden. The overall matchups in that game are pretty spot on.

The Cyclones, on the other hand, did a remarkably impressive job with 1 senior and wagon full of freshmen....TALENTED freshmen!

*One side note of interest: The TX assistant coaches were decked out l ike it was....I dunno....mardi Gras on Kim Mulkey's street. Laughing Laughing

Madison Booker is amazing and well deserving of the Big 12 POY award! I pretty much hate that Texas is coming to the SEC next year---one more defend/rebound/run team, but at least more competition for LSU. Not sure what they'll do to SC though, but it will be interesting.

This was my first good look at Audi Crooks for Iowa State. Yeah she can shoot, and turn and shoot, but she is SLOOOOW getting down the court. Bill Fennelly would do well to get her in the pool and have her lose 30-40 lbs before next season. She'd do much better if she didn't have to drag all that weight up and down the court.

Certainly agree on Madison Booker! To play out of position because of an injury to an All American Point Guard and have the success that Booker brought to Texas is amazing. Top it off Madison is a true freshman, great job!
