Also this: "The 88% correct call rate was on par with the rest of the 2023 NCAA Tournament, but not ideal for the most important game of the season."

Do we fans want the officiating correct call rate to be 100%? Yes we do.Could the officiating have been better? Absolutely. However, this story was a waste of space (IMHO). If the findings showed the correct call rate was 60%% or something truly atrocious, that would be an interesting finding. It doesn't tells us anything we don't already know: refs need to do better.
