St. John’s is hitting 56% from three and is winning the game with threes vs twos.

Queenie must be in church praying.
St John's is on the offensive boards like they think they're SCar.
57-42 near the end of the 3rd.

SJU 11 of 20 from the arc. No wonder they're winning.
Although in addition to shooting better they also have more rebounds, more assists and fewer turnovers than Purdue.
In other words, they're playing better basketball
BTW, Purdue is shooting better than 50%. They must be wondering what they have to do.

That's three straight shaky (and scoreless) possessions by SJU.

Interesting call on the fouls.

Sam Gore near the end of the 1st quarter: "...so many good free throw shooters; that's why I'm excited if this game goes down to the wire, Kim."
Well, the game sure did go down to the wire, but I feel cheated that we didn't get the free throw showdown we were promised!
What a shot by Jayla Everett! Congratulations, Queenie!

I was rooting for Purdue but didn't like the foul call on St John's on that breakaway layup that also resulted in a technical on the blocker. Had to turn it off at that point as the call would have made it a tainted victory to me. Missed calls near the end seem so much more significant.

That was a clean block, but if you check it out, there was contact between the players' feet which knocked the shooter off balance.
