Whyyyyyyyyyyyy , Why stunt the growth of Destiny at PG smh . Last year with Robinson this year with Wheeler smh Henny needs to get on the first ship out as an RFA when its time.

hopefully they let Wheeler and Henny (and maybe Wallace, too?) compete for the starting PG spot

it’d be ideal if Henny won and played the bulk of her minutes with Boston, and i think it makes sense to start her anyway since she has the highest potential of the PG options

By the time she is a restricted free agent in 2-3 years she may be the starting point guard by then.

That's a big IF when it comes to Boston forgoing the covid year. Rumors are circling but , i dont think she wants to take that route. I prefer her to join now , staying an extra year will bring bad vibes to her character as a professional in my opinion.

Are you saying she’s actually leaning towards using the covid year? Or despite the rumors, she’s still leaning towards turning pro? The way you write things sometimes isn’t clear, 09.

On Twitter, Richyy reports that Wheeler's deal is two-year at max. That is crazy.

So this is another depth chart that’s a little off.

Im saying with the rumors of her having the covid year to comeback and avoid Indiana would not show great character for her as a rookie entering the league. Im not sure how else to say it lol Laughing Laughing . Everyone has heard the rumors since the draft lottery became in stone im sure you have as well correcT? Not saying there's merit but it's not anything that would or could surprise people.

This is a headscratcher.... I liked the move for Indiana at first because Wheeler brings just as much as DRob but is younger and I *assumed* would be cheaper. Plot twist, she'll be making $50,000 more... Confused

I'm not twitter in that way, so no, I was unaware of such rumors you were referencing. I hope she turns pro as expected. If Indiana's not gonna relocate as was speculated upon all of last year, then they need to start actually being on the up & up.

Though signing Wheeler to a deal she absolutely did not earn through her play last season with Atlanta is not the greatest way of trying to ascend. Don't try to tank for Caitlin Clark too hard, y'all. Confused

Lin Dunn is starting to morph into Catchings in that GM seat... they probably should've found a new permanent GM during the offseason instead of just sticking with Dunn, presumably without exploring other options.

Maya Caldwell has signed with the Indiana Fever

“Maya is a lockdown defender who has added several offensive skills to her game,” said Christie Sides, Fever head coach. “Every time she has faced adversity in her young career, she didn’t waste a minute getting in the gym and went to work to get better. She is a hard worker who values the intangibles.”

“Maya is a young, versatile wing that has a big upside in this league,” said Lin Dunn, Fever general manager. “We love her speed and quickness.”

This is a good pickup she will bring more than what Tiff Mitchell did to this team imo.

Just looked at the WNBA.com transactions page:

"Indiana: Caldwell, Maya – Sign Regular Contract" Hope that's true rather than training camp contract...

When somebody gets waived before training camp even starts it usually suggests an off court issue

It does seem like a few teams may have over-signed this year though, maybe not fully considering that more players are going to show up on time this year due to it costing them money if they don't. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a few more cuts before camps open on Sunday.

yeah, Indy has a LOT of players on that roster. They can't have more than 15 in camp, right?

and Dallas too...
