Wow. So Miss St scored by Q 5, 11, 11, 7.

Creme has them as first team out in his bracketology. Can you explain why they are even close to being on any bubble?

No idea if/how Creme factors in NET, but their ranking there is 40, which is above Oklahoma, Marquette, and Miami. Perhaps NET helps their cause? *shrug*

I've been complaining, more or less, about how both their and Michigan State's NET rankings seem quite high given their resumes. Mississippi State is the top team in NET with no Quad 1 wins (0-7), and Middle Tennessee State is the only team above them with only one Quad 1 win (1-0). Oklahoma is 4-4 and Marquette is 3-7 against Quad 1, and both those teams and Mississippi State are undefeated against Quad 2-4, so seems suspect to me to have Mississippi State above them.

Even St Johns is 2-3 against Quad 1 and undefeated against Quads 2-4, and they are ranked 51 (though they are about to lose to Seton Hall). On the other end of the spectrum, NET is not a fan of Texas Tech.

If not them then who? Cleveland State? Stephen F Austin? Syracuse? There aren't any alternatives with appreciably better cases.

FWIW RPI does not think so highly of Miss St, ranking them #82. If the committee was still using that we'd be looking at Auburn instead, which wouldn't really be an improvement.
