Vegas damn well better win this title so Chelsea can get a much deserved Finals MVP award. She has been ridiculous through the whole playoffs.

Kelsey Plum's scoring has gone down six playoff games in a row: she's picked an unfortunate time to turn into a pumpkin.

I would like refs who can tell the difference between 2 and 3 to call the WNBA Finals, please and thank you.

And just as I said that, she coughed up the ball twice, although that last turnover will be credited to Plum, it was Gray that put her in a bad position to catch it.

That was a horrible final possession by Sun.

Good defense by the Aces on that last possession, especially Stokes and Hamby defending Bonner without fouling her on that 3pt attempt.

What's funny is that, in this game, we saw the Aces do everything that explains why they shouldn't win this series, and yet the outcome of the game suggests that they're probably going to. If the Sun can't beat the Aces when they play like this, I don't think they can beat them.

The Aces got a couple shot clock violations due to Jackie Young passing up shots. She and Plum have to step it up, Gray is going to get worn out from carrying a heavy load.

Wilson was dynamite on both ends! She was a great player in college, but I did not foresee her being such a great player at this level. She doesn't have generation skills of a Griner, Delle Donne or Stewart, but she has worked her butt off and turned into one of the best players in the world, if not the best right now.

AT is a beast, if Miller is smart he'll have her as the primary defender on Gray, she was the only one successful in stopping her.

All season long I’ve been hearing the Aces are in trouble for one thing or another. They win Game 1 and it sounds like they’re still in trouble. Surprised

They had a lead, self-destructed in the 2nd qtr, and struggled to get back and win by three. Plum hasn't hit the broad side of a barn in ages, and Young can't seem to get into the offensive flow. The bench is always barely useful.

This series is going to be a real grind. Wilson, Gray, Young, and Plum have all been playing 35 mpg for weeks. Hopefully Hamby will make a larger contribution going ahead.

I feel like this was the Sun’s chance to win in Vegas.

Now coaching adjustments will happen, and I’m pretty sure Hammon will have better ones Laughing

Connecticut style of play takes a lot of energy. There’s only one day’s rest between the first three games. We’ll see if they can keep it up.

Plum’s gotta break out of her funk sooner or later.

One might expect the team with the thinner bench to have more trouble with that.

Probably the team with the thinner bench being at home during most of those 3 games will get an advantage for that......

Connecticut looked very strong in Games Four and Five against Chicago, both on one day rest. They didn't seem worn down by their effort.

Las Vegas has only played once on one day of rest in these playoffs. They barely scraped out a win.

CT played bench players 37 minutes, Aces 32. Off the bench, Hamby played 10 minutes and anyone watching the game knows she made some key plays - a big steal in particular. She might be the Aces secret weapon in game 2 if she's ready to play more minutes. She can provide similar defense to Kiah Stokes and significantly more offense.

Hamby truly brought a spark for the Aces.

Plum and Young have to fix whatever had them off today! Extra days of rest don't always help. A'ja and Chelsea Gray are not going to be able to maintain this level of energy and adrenaline forever.

The league has to do something about the officiating - it's getting worse instead of better.
