So sad that those were Syl's last moments in the W. Definitely going to miss her!

Now that all of the fanfare has ended, I’m reminded of how Fowles ended up as a Lynx. Virtually had the Sky held hostage as she would only sign with Minny. The Lynx got another hall of famer who helped deliver titles while the Sky ended up with Erika DeSouza Confused

Who knows how well the Sky would’ve looked with Sloot, Fowles and EDD playing together for a few years. Fortunately the Sky did manage to finally win a title despite dealing with those stars running from the Windy city.

In the halftime interview, Syl mentioned that when she asked out she felt bad because of how close she was with Sloot. She also mentioned that the two coaches she wanted to play for were Reeve and Thibault.

Would have been interesting to see what would have happened in DC if Fowles ended up there. Glad she was with us though.

yeah, I held that against her for a long time. She really screwed Chicago. But her sweet nature eventually won me over.

Me too. During her hold out, I mis-characterized Syl as being jealous of the attention that EDD was getting. Like she didn't want to be second fiddle. I was wrong. She had no problem being part of the cast of characters in Minny. She just wanted a great coach with a chance to win.
