Skylar goes for and has gone for the gusto/stars, so to speak, in everything she does and has done. And why not? She has talent, charisma, intelligence, appeal, desire, work ethics, perseverance etc. Settling for less hasn't been in her history.
Only if she can't get where she wants to go, though I think she already knows, will she settle for less and change course. She's not someone who quits.

IND have buckets of money available, so for them not making a splash, I’d call it a failure. They could have had both Diggins and McCoughtry with not a lot of future entanglements. But there’s still time to make some money moves.

Team resigns own free agent. What amazing deductive skills it takes to guess that ...

It is going to take Stanley time as she has a lot of changes to make for her style of basketball. Looking forward to watching her mold this team.

Another bad year and high draft pick wouldn't be the worst thing, especially since they will eventually have to not be screwed by the lottery.

You wanted and expected her back?

Oh, you felt screwed over by getting the best player last year? Somebody get the violin.

Indiana had the 3rd pick and that player fell into their lap.

Yes, last year the Fever got the worst draft position they could based on records. That other teams missed on the best player doesn't mean the team wasn't screwed in the lottery.
Do you have to have some sort of comment all of the time? Can you ever just not?

Expect, yes, of course. Who else would want her?
Wanted? Couldn't care less. She's end of bench fodder. Those players do not matter.

Don't know anything about her, but the shooting percentage for a 6'10 player is a red flag.
Worth taking a flyer, I would think.

65% FG shooting is a red flag? I just saw two video clips/highlights of her and she likes the outside shot.

I realize I was looking at an earlier season.

Aha! I think the key words here are "upside" and "potential" as she's only 25 and started playing at 16. I think she has a smooth stroke, likes the 10-12 footers, moves well and is worth a try, even in 5-10 minutes of back-up play.
And we all know you can't teach 6'10. Just funny that so many of us have never heard of a 6'10er like this before.

It's not like the Fever roster is so packed they don't have the space to take a flyer or two on a player who might surprise. If she doesn't, have they really lost much by not having another year of, say, Erica McCall? Worth the chance, IMO.
