Alex Wittinger is very athletic for a white player. It's a shame she played on such bad teams for her career. They mentioned that she stayed through the coaching change, implying other players left. Illinois has 2 Big 10 wins under their new coach.

I remember a few years ago - either her Fresh or Soph year - that I thought Wittinger had potential. But she's never really progressed. Too bad.

Well THAT'S racist!!!!!!! |
What if it is just implied, as in this comment:

I am not sure there has ever been a draft with so many possible 1st/high 2nd round picks that are excellent college players with the major issue of athleticism discussed in this article. Even the top player, Sabrina (plenty of outstanding traits), does have questions about footspeed, quickness, and defensive ability; of course Lindsay Whalen had similar issues her entire career, and is on the way to the Hall of Fame. Heck, they used to question Larry Bird's athleticism.
Anyway, here, in addition to Sabrina is my list of players with this possible vulnerability: Samuelson, Alana Smith, Gustafson, Shepherd, Cunnigham, Hof, and, of course, Carlton. |

No, I don't have to. I still don't care for him._________________ If you cannot inspire yourself to read a book about women's basketball, or any book about women's sports, you cannot inspire any young girl or boy to write a book about them. http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/Richardstrek

Not really, There are questions about a few of those players. Some are logical and realistic. Some are not. But you just out and said it, what you said was outright racist, and you just won't admit it.

I didn't realize that statement was offensive. My apologies.

They have faded several seasons in a row. They just don’t seem to have enough depth.
Michigan State 68-52, final

What's with the conference tourney's having so many dangerous 8-9 seeds? 1st Tennessee, 2nd Michigan State. I'm sure I'll find plenty more......

This Ohio State be Wisconsin game is so fugly. QSU had a 10 point lead at the half due to UW’s 21% shooting, but now OSU has a lid on the basket with only 6 points in 6 minutes into the 3Q.

Northwestern didn't look like a very athletic team. Athleticism is more important in tournaments when the intensity goes up.

67-59, 1:24 left. OSU is sending UW to the line to stop the clock.

Go Badgers! I watched their senior day game hosting OSU last week and didn't think they had much of a shot today. It looks like they had a nice second half today.

The two teams basically flipped halves. I didn’t think UW had a chance the way they played in the beginning.
