The challenge: Construct a team composed entirely of players who were in their first year as transfers this season.

The head coach, too, must have been in his/her first year as a transfer from another head coaching position.

No replies.

You don't have to name an entire team. Just name individual first year transfer players or head coaches you think qualify for such a team.

Others can assemble a team later from the components.

Brown, Calhoun, Harper, Gray, and Mavunga, and I'm going with Steph White to coach all these guards.

I'll do a starting lineup.

G: Lexie Brown
G: Linnae Harper
F: Allisha Gray
F: Stephanie Mavunga
C: Chatrice White

Bench players: Natalie Romeo, Ieshia Small, Imani Wright, Kaylan Pugh, Kelsey Mitchell

Coach: Can't think of one.

Hmmm . . . that's sneaky: WNBA head coach to college head coach. The rules committee didn't contemplate that.

I'll nominate Katie Abrahamson-Henderson at the University of Central Florida, who had a great coaching run for many years at Albany.
