Too bad Cardinal disappeared. I think he could have beaten me with his astute management skills.
Anyway, thanks everyone for sticking it out. Hope you've enjoyed watching the games and agonizing over how your players perform. I always hope mine will be better than they are...but then I'm a perfectionist! Biggest mistakes probably were giving up Turner. Part of the reason we did was because she was getting no blocks. Since then of course she's gotten lots of block for Lynx and upped her points/rebounds. Ditto for Belmont in terms of # of games left, but she's been much better for Cardinal than she was for us.

Yeah, I really hope Cardinal is alright and will return to us someday...

Anyhow, even though I was unable to defend my rebounding title or win in blocks despite seeming to be a shoo in, I will gladly celebrate my title in steals and hope I can hang on to win assists as well! If so, I'm going to have to name Ashley Deary as my team MVP as she was money in those categories despite sinking my overall chances

ok. The final stats are in...except for Lynx' Stipanovich's game on Tuesday.

It has been a bit of a strange year. But I guess each year brings its own oddities. I was pretty sure at the beginning that Matt would win rebounds and blocks. He did get 2nd in both those categories, but also won assists and steals. If his team could do that without so many TO's, and maybe shot better too, it would have been tough to beat. That's what makes this game difficult, though, trying to find the right balance. Everybody actually did well in some categories. Pure made a late charge because he had so many more players than everybody else here at the end of the year. Miracles don't usually do so well in points, rebounds, and steals, but somehow were competitive there this year so that was interesting.

I'm such a fanatic I've already started looking at who's coming back and who I want next year. Who's your #1 fantasy player for next year?

Anyway thanks again. Enjoy the off season but it's never too early to start fantasizing all over again.
